Applicant Eligibility
 Are you one of the following?

An individual holding a civil service appointment in the executive, judicial,
or legislative branches of the Federal Government. (If you are unsure, see help.)
If you are a member of the armed services or an Uniformed Service, such as the
Public Health Service or NOAA Commissioned Corps, your answer should be No.

A former career SES appointee who is eligible for career reinstatement in the SES.

A graduate of an OPM-approved Federal agency SES Candidate Development Plan
who has been certified by a Qualifications Review Board.
NOTE: Veterans' preference does not apply in announcements for SES positions.
